The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas praised Sunday Palestinian administrative detainees for standing steadfast in confronting the Israeli occupation policies of administrative detention ( a misnomer for detention without trial or charges).
Despite the threats and harassment by the Israeli occupation prison service, Palestinian administrative detainees have been boycotting Israeli occupation courts for the 100th day in a row to protest their incarceration without charge or trial.
Hamas official Zaher Jabarin said that Palestinian administrative detainees will continue to boycott the Israeli occupation courts until the Israeli occupation ends such racist, unfair policy.
In a press statement, Jabarin stressed that this major, national issue is a "matter of interest" for his movement, adding that liberating Palestinian detainees from Israeli occupation jails is a top priority for the Hamas leadership.
The Hamas official called on the Palestinian people to continue voicing solidarity with all Palestinian detainees, particularly administrative detainees and activate popular and human rights action to place pressure on the Israeli occupation to end their ongoing humanitarian suffering.
