The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemned the Zionist occupation's decision to prevent the Imam of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, from traveling for a period of 4 months, is a crime that contradicts the most basic human rights and international laws that guarantee freedom of movement and travel.

Hamas spokesman, Abd al-Latif al-Qanoua, considered this decision, today Monday, a desperate attempt to prevent such voices of our Palestinian symbols from defending Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, exposing the occupation crimes and violations and colonial settlers' storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conveying the suffering of the Jerusalemites to public opinion.

Al-Qanoua said that this abhorrent racist policy pursued by the occupation in restricting the symbols of Jerusalem and banning them from entering Al-Aqsa, will not succeed in isolating our Palestinian people, leaders, and symbols from defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and thwarting the temporal and spatial division plans.
