Hamas has renewed its commitment to the liberation of Palestine and reiterated its refusal to recognize the Israeli occupation.
In a statement on the 68th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, Hamas asserted that the Palestinian resistance will remain the spearhead of the Palestinian liberation movement, noting that the resistance has stopped Israeli expansionism and exposed Zionist terrorism in front of the free peoples of the world.
The Movement said that the Israeli occupation of Palestine was made possible through terrorism and deception, while it was prolonged by silence and complicity from local and international leaders.
Hamas called on host Arab governments to extend hospitality to Palestinian refugees until the day of return.
The Movement urged all Palestinian factions to take a stand against the security collaboration and repression practiced by the Palestinian Authority in the occupied West Bank.
“We also call on Fatah to accept our message and opt for reconciliation and the path of resistance,” the statement continued.
Hamas asserted that the recurrent Israeli violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque will be the ending of its occupation, warning of an imminent explosion as a result of Israeli siege and infringement on Palestinian rights.
The statement hailed the steadfastness of Palestinian prisoners, confirming that their liberation remains a top priority for the Palestinian resistance and people.
