The Twitter social media platform has banned the official account of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas without providing any justifications.

The Hamas official website said: "Twitter insists on silencing Palestinian voices, and fully siding with the Zionist narrative."

"While Twitter imposes severe restrictions on the Palestinian content, it allows unfettered space for the Zionist occupation's lies."

The Hamas website stressed that the social media platforms' double standards, their blatant bias toward the Zionist narrative, and their fight against Palestinian content will not silence the Palestinian voice or discourage the Palestinian people from continuing their legitimate right to resist the occupation. 

The Palestinian people will continue communicating with the masses of our Ummah and the free people of the world in all possible ways.
