The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas commends the masses of our Palestinian people who have gathered since dawn today in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and confronted the storming of the Zionist colonial settlers under heavy military guard.

Emphasizing the Arab and Islamic character of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, we call on the Palestinian people to continue mobilizing throughout this day.

The occupation's attack on the Palestinian people and preventing them from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque will not grant the occupation any alleged sovereignty over any inch of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain purely Islamic, and the only sovereignty over it is for our Palestinian people.
