Hamas spokesperson Abdel Latif al-Qanoa said that the Israeli occupation has been on high alert and exhausted its capabilities to make way for the "flag march".
In a press statement on late Sunday, al-Qanoa affirmed that the Palestinian people have exclusive sovereignty over the Al-Aqsa Mosque and that the Israeli occupation will not succeed in passing its schemes.
Al-Qanoa explained that the Israeli "flag march" will not grant the Israeli occupation any sovereignty over the Al-Aqsa compound.
Hailing Palestinian citizens of Jerusalem for standing steadfast in the face of the Israeli occupation and settlers, the Hamas spokesperson pointed to a "field unity" among all Palestinians across all arenas to confront the Israeli occupation and foil its plots.
