Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has refused to offer assurances to any side regarding the Palestinian reaction to the Israeli occupation's aggression on Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Haniyeh's media advisor, Taher al-Nunu, said. 

In a press statement late Sunday, al-Nunu pointed out that some sides have contacted Haniyeh to work on containing and de-escalating the situation in occupied Jerusalem. 

The Hamas chief assured these sides that what has happened in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque is unforgivable and that the Palestinian resistance would go ahead with their struggle until ending the occupation, al-Nunu added.
