Member of Hamas Political Bureau Ezzt al-Resheq has confirmed that Sunday's "flag march" that the Israeli occupation mistakenly thought would grant it sovereignty over Jerusalem reflects how fragile it is.

In a press statement, al-Resheq added that the Palestinian people will "shatter the Israeli occupation's hopes for sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem." 

Al-Resheq continued: "These scenes assure the world that the Israeli occupation government, army, and settlers cannot raise their flag [in occupied Jerusalem] without their troops being on high alert and under protection from thousands of heavily-armed soldiers."
