Head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, phoned the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, and congratulated him on his re-election and the continuation of his position in the presidency of Parliament.

Expressing his hope that our Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon will achieve more of their human rights on the road to return, the Hamas chief wished Lebanon political, economic, and security stability so that Lebanon can continue its role in supporting the Palestinian cause and the right to return.
