During an event organized to commemorate the martyrs of the Freedom Flotilla, the head of Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to attempts to obliterate its Islamic character and attempts to impose temporal and spatial division in it. "Al-Aqsa does not accept division or partnership, Haniyeh stressed."

During His speech, Haniyeh saluted the families of the Freedom Flotilla martyrs and indicated that those martyrs are the martyrs of Jerusalem and Palestine, and we will remain faithful to their blood until we break the siege on Gaza, liberate Jerusalem, and pray in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
