The repeated calls by Israeli occupation colonial settlers to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday and Monday are a desperate attempt to Judaize and declare "sovereignty" over the mosque as part of schemes orchestrated by the Israeli occupation to impose a temporal and spatial division at the Muslim sacred compound.
In light of the new fait accompli that Israeli colonial settlers are trying to impose at the Al-Aqsa complex, we emphasise that protecting the mosque and visiting it is a national and religious duty. Palestinian citizens of Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 will remain committed to defending the mosque at all times.
The detention campaigns, banishment orders, and restrictions imposed on Palestinian worshippers will make the Palestinian people more determined to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it.
