The UN Commission of Inquiry’s report renews the call for ending the Israeli occupation and holding to account its leaders for their crimes against the Palestinian people. 

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomes the report issued by the international commission of inquiry formed by the UN Human Rights Council, which documents the scale of suffering that the Palestinian people have been enduring under the occupation, including systematic home demolitions, forced displacement, Israeli settler violence, and terrorism, in addition to the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip. 

The report represents a new and significant addition to the process of documenting the Israeli occupation’s crimes and calls on the United Nations and the international community to immediately work on ensuring justice for the Palestinian people by ending the Israeli occupation and holding to account its leaders for their crimes and violations against Palestinian rights and international norms and conventions.
