The Israeli occupation army's bombardment of the Gaza Strip is an extension of its aggression that has targeted all Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem has said. 

"The Israeli occupation is desperately trying to stop the Palestinian struggle across historic Palestine," Hazem explained in a press statement. 

He reaffirmed that the Palestinian resistance will always remain the "armoured shield of the Palestinians everywhere." 

Despite the ongoing Israeli aggression, the Hamas spokesperson stressed that the Palestinian people will continue their legitimate fight against the occupation until achieving their aspirations for freedom and independence.
