Head of Hamas' National Relations Office Husam Badran has phoned Mustafa al-Barghouthi, secretary-general of the Palestinian National Initiative, congratulating him on his movement's 20th anniversary.
Highlighting the close ties between his movement and the Palestinian National Initiative, Badran conveyed the Hamas leadership's regards to al-Barghouthi on this occasion.
Badran hailed the Palestinian National Initiative for its continuous progress and positive handling of the Palestinian national situation.
Al-Barghouthi, in return, expressed his movement's appreciation of its relationship with Hamas and its keenness to preserve it in a way that serves the Palestinian interests.
