The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns the decision of the Zionist “University Presidents Committee” to recognize the so-called “Ariel” settlement college as a university within its membership. We consider this decision an outrageous reinforcement to the colonial-settlement policy of the occupation's policy of colonial settlement and Judaization, and a blatant encroachment on our Palestinian land.

 This decision is considered complicity by the Zionist education system in continuing the series of escalating colonial settlement escalation and theft of Palestinian lands, and a violation of all international laws and charters that condemned and rejected colonial settlement expansion at the expense of our Palestinian land.

We call on universities around the world to boycott the Zionist entity's universities due to their involvement in the policy of occupation, settlement, and aggression against our Palestinian land and people.
