The Zionist occupation’s approval of three colonial settlement plans in occupied Jerusalem, which include the construction of 1,698 colonial settlement units, that aim to isolate Jerusalem from the West Bank, and the occupation's initiation to build a new apartheid wall 45 km long, are dangerous and renewed aggression against our occupied lands and reveal the ugly colonial face of the Zionist occupation, which desperately seeks to change the Jerusalem's features and its Arab-Islamic identity.

Hamas affirms that the aggressive colonial settlement policy will not give the occupation legitimacy on our occupied lands, and Jerusalem will remain a beacon for our Palestinian people and a trigger for conflict until the occupation is removed from our Islamic and Christian land and sanctities.
