Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zhuri commented on the appointment of Yisrael Beiteinu party leader Avigdor Lieberman as new head of the Israeli War Ministry, stating that it reflects increasing Israeli extremism and racism.

“This appointment proves the falsehood of calls for normalization and coexistence with the occupation.” He underlined.

Abu Zuhri stressed that all Israeli leaders are murderers and criminals participating in crimes against Palestinians.

He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities towards mounting Israeli racism.
