The United Nations’ observance of June 26, the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, is an opportunity to expose the Zionist occupation's crimes of torture practiced against our Palestinian people in the occupation prisons, and to shed light on the continuing suffering resulting from the occupation's brutal policy and practice of the worst forms of psychological and physical torture against our Palestinian people.

Hamas Movement reiterates that the occupation's continued brutal methods of torture against the Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons, especially children, women, and the sick is a heinous crime that violates all international covenants and laws.

These methods have left them with chronic diseases, permanent disabilities, and continuous psychological and physical pain.

The occupation's crimes require action on all political and humanitarian levels to expose the criminal occupation, prosecute the perpetrators, and stop the violations against the detainees, and release them.
