The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas rejects the attempts by the Israeli occupation to register the ownership of Palestinian endowment land near the Old City of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque for Israeli settlers. 

Such move constitutes a blatant violation of international laws and conventions and theft of Muslim endowment land in broad daylight in a bid to Judaise around 350 dunums (35 hectares) of this area. 

In light of this grave aggression against Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, we reaffirm our opposition to all attempts by the Israeli occupation to impose a new fait accompli in the holy city by passing illegal laws that will not succeed in erasing the landmarks of the holy city and altering historical facts. 

We call for rejecting such measures and confronting them with all means possible.
