Member of Gaza Strip leadership in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Basim Naim, confirmed that the Negev Forum meeting will only harm the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian authentic rights and damage the security and stability of the region.

Naim said, today Wednesday, that the news from the Bahraini capital "Manama" about the meeting of the so-called "Negev Forum Steering Committee" was shocking to every Arab in general, and the Palestinians in particular.

Naim added that while the occupation continues to commit its crimes against our Palestinian people, including murdering, displacement, demolishing homes, and violating sanctities, some Arab countries insist on granting the fascist entity more legitimacy to usurp Palestinian rights and threaten Arab national security.

Naim pointed out that the assignment of the occupation to head the "Steering Committee of the Negev Forum" for the coming year clearly indicates the directions of these regional moves, under US auspices, to strengthen the occupation's hegemony over the region and its capabilities at the expense of our peoples and their future.

Naim called on the participant Arab countries in the forum to review their positions, and immediately backtrack this sin that harms the security and stability of the region.
