The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of 19-year-old Kamel Alawneh, who succumbed to wounds that he sustained on Saturday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin. 

We offer our sincere condolences to the martyr's family and his father, Abdallah Alwaneh. 

We salute the residents of Jenin who have made great sacrifices in their path to freedom and ending the Israeli occupation. 

We also hail Palestinian citizens of the West Bank and Jerusalem for confronting the Israeli occupation with all their might.
