The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas fully rejects the so-called “Jerusalem Declaration” signed today between the US administration and the occupying entity. 

This declaration comes to consolidate further Washington’s approach of siding with and supporting the occupation's aggression against our Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian lands and holy sites and a continuation of the US's suspicious attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause by integrating this Zionist entity into our Arab and Islamic Ummah.

This declaration expresses the blatant and unacceptable bias of the US administration toward the Zionist entity and its occupying agendas. It makes the US administration a partner in the Israeli occupation's aggression and terrorism against our Palestinian land, people, and sanctities.

In light of this stark disregard for our rights, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas affirms the following:

First: The document of the so-called “Jerusalem Declaration” is nothing but a new chapter in consolidating the occupation and strengthening the American-Zionist terrorism directed against our Palestinian land,  people, and holy sites. It is no different from other invalid charters and treaties that our Palestinian people had experienced throughout their history of struggle and were able to thwart them by their steadfastness and resistance.

Second: We warn against this document's danger to the present, future, security, and stability of our Arab and Islamic Ummah and its peoples, by trying to integrate this foreign occupation entity into its body. We call for mobilizing all forces in the Ummah towards rejecting the so-called “Jerusalem Declaration” and not succumbing to American dictates that look after the Zionist enemy's interests at the expense of the Arab and Islamic peoples' interests.

Third: We call on our Palestinian people, factions, and national forces to declare their rejection of this document, and to move forward on the path of comprehensive resistance until achieving the aspirations of our Palestinian people for liberation and return.
