The Israeli occupation’s intention to hold a marathon in occupied Jerusalem is a clear attempt to prove its purported and void sovereignty over the holy city. 

This move will never alter the Arab and Islamic character of the city that our Palestinian people will protect with their steadfastness and determination to confront the Israeli occupation and its ongoing violations. 

We call on the free peoples of the world to boycott the Israeli occupation which is trying to use use sports and cultural activities to cover up its continuous crimes against the Palestinian people and their Muslim and Christian holy site.
