The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns the Israeli occupation's policies against the Palestinian education system in occupied Jerusalem, particularly its increasing attempts to wipe out the Palestinian curriculum, distort the Palestinian identity and its features, and block any prospect for improving the educational environment in Palestinian schools. 

As we hail Palestinian educational institutions for their unique role, we voice our full support for them. 

We stress that the attempts to Israelise the Palestinian curriculum and target the Palestinian educational institutions are doomed to fail in the face of the growing Palestinian steadfastness and awareness. 

We call for mobilising efforts and resources, at the official and popular levels, to reinforce the Palestinian education establishment in Jerusalem so that the Palestinian people can regain their rights, above all their right to education.
