Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has emphasised that the Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for its most recent escalation in the Gaza Strip.
In a phone call with senior Egyptian intelligence officials, Haniyeh reaffirmed the necessity for the ongoing Israeli bombardment in the besieged Gaza Strip to be immediately stopped.
