Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh has phoned the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia and Special Representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, to discuss the Israeli offensive against the Gaza Strip.

In the phone call, the top Hamas official called for halting the Israeli attacks on Gaza and violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque immediately.

Noting that the Palestinians face the Israeli aggression steadfastly, Haniyeh briefed Bogdanov on the Israeli crimes committed against Palestinian civilians.
