Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh phoned the secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Ziad Nakhala, to discuss the most recent Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip. 

The Hamas chief confirmed to his counterpart that the Israeli occupation had failed to break the will of the Palestinian people. 

Both had discussions about how to enhance cooperation, emphasizing that they are united in the field. 

They also hailed the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the brave resistance. 

Haniyeh and Nakhala agreed to hold a meeting for the leadership of both factions to discuss the political developments and shield the project of resistance.
