The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said the Israeli occupation's ongoing persecution and detention of Palestinian activists and leaders in the occupied West Bank, the latest of which was the detention of Palestinian figure and freed detainee, Faze' Sawafta, and activist and freed detainee, Nader Sawafta, this morning, is a Zionist crime that exposes the blunder of the Israeli occupation.

The crime of detaining the two freed detainees, Faze' and Nader Sawafta, who had spent many years in Israeli jails will not break them nor undermine the role of the Palestinian figures in confronting the Israeli occupation.

We call on the Palestinian people to mount their resistance, remain steadfast, and confront the Israeli occupation and settlers, in defense of our lands, Jerusalem, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
