Israeli settlers’ plan to storm Nabi Samuil village west of occupied Jerusalem next Friday is a new crime that comes as part of the schemes aimed at Judaising the holy city and displacing its Palestinian population. 

This requires the residents of Nabi Samuil and all Palestinians who can access the village to stand up for Israeli settlers and protect the village. 

This move comes amid Israeli plans to approve the construction of 700 new settler units in the illegal settlement of “Givat Shaked” near Beit Safafa town south of occupied Jerusalem. It also emphasises the scale of the fierce settler-colonial campaign targeting Jerusalem amid suspicious international silence. 

As we salute the Palestinian people for confronting the Israeli occupation, we call on Palestinian citizens of the West Bank and Jerusalem to activate all means of resistance to defend Jerusalem against the growing Israeli aggression and terrorism.
