Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh visited on Tuesday evening Palestinian girl Rahaf Salman, who lost her limbs during the latest Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and is now receiving treatment, along with her injured brother, in the Turkish hospital, Ankara. 

The Hamas chief expressed appreciation to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for swiftly responding to his request to receive Salman for treatment in the country.  

Haniyeh also thanked Türkiye for its role in providing medical treatment to Palestinians injured during the repeated Israeli assaults on the besieged Gaza Strip.
