Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has offered his congratulations to  Mohammed Taqoush and Mohammed Shatila on their election as secretary general and head of Shura Council of Lebanon’s Islamic Group respectively. 

Wishing them success in their posts, Haniyeh hoped that both officials continue supporting the Palestinian national rights. 

Haniyeh hailed the group’s former chief, Azzam al-Ayoubi, for his positions in support of the Palestinian people and their national rights.
