Head of Hamas Political bureau Ismail Haniyeh extended condolences in a phone call to Huda Ghalia, sister of Amina Ghalya, who succumbed to injuries she sustained by Israeli occupation forces bombed Gaza beach in 2006.

On the phone call, the Hamas chief also expressed sincere condolences to the relatives of late Galia and prayed to Allah Almighty to have mercy on and grant her Paradise.

On June 9, 2006, the Israeli occupation artillery and gunboats fired eight shells at Beit Lahia seashore, north of Gaza Strip, killing most of Galia’s family members. Huda Ghalia was filmed running wildly along the beach crying "father, father, father" and then falling weeping beside his body.
