Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has sent a letter of congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the 92nd anniversary of the kingdom's National Day. 

"Hamas highly appreciates the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's positions and its long history of serving the Muslims' major and central issues, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third holiest site," Haniyeh said. 

In the letter, the Hamas chief called on Saudi Arabia to issue a royal pardon for all Palestinians detained in its prisons and continue to support the Palestinian people.
