Holding a concert by Israeli settlers at the Ibrahimi Mosque in occupied Hebron is a new crime and a dangerous development aimed at provoking the feelings of Muslims.
This move is a continuation of the systematic and escalating Israeli policy intended to seize holy sites.
We emphasise that such desperate attempts will not succeed in wiping out the features of Palestinian holy sites or changing historical facts.
We warn the Israeli occupation against the consequences of such attempts as the Palestinian people will not stand idly by and will defend their lands and holy sites with all means possible.
We salute Palestinian citizens of the West Bank and Jerusalem who are defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Ibrahimi Mosque.
We call on them to intensify their presence at both mosques to reassert their exclusive Islamic right to both compounds and foil the Israeli occupation’s schemes aimed at desecrating and Judaizing the Muslim sacred sites.
