As we celebrate the forty-ninth anniversary of the October 1973 War, the Arab nations are reminded of their steadfastness and resistance against the Zionist occupation and that our nations can defeat it with their strong determination. The Arab nations should also be reminded of the serious repercussions of the attempts to integrate the usurping entity into the region, which poses a real danger to our security, stability and resources.

Commemorating the heroic Egyptian and Syrian forces’ victory over the Israeli occupation during the 1973 war, Hamas salutes the resistance fighters who participated in the war and prays to Allah to have mercy on the souls of the heroes martyred. Those martyrs have paved the way to victory and proved that resistance is the quickest way to defeat the Israeli occupation and liberate occupied Palestine and Arab lands.

We reiterate that the Arab and Islamic nations, with all their components, are the back we cling to in our freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation to claim our rights and liberate our lands and sanctities.

Hamas emphasizes that integrating roles and promoting joint action in support of our people and their resistance with all means possible is the only way to liberation and return.
