The Palestinian citizens of occupied Jerusalem, Nablus, and Jenin have set the most wonderful examples of steadfastness, sacrifice, and heroism, defending the occupied capital and the Al-Aqsa Mosque against the Israeli occupation forces and settlers’ continued aggression, oppression, injustice, terrorism, and arbitrary measures against the defenceless Palestinians in the Shufat refugee camp as collective punishment.

Responding to that, Hamas states the following:

First: We salute the steadfast Palestinian citizens of the Shufat refugee camp and the towns of Anata, Issawiya, Jabal Mukaber, Sur Baher, Silwan, Ras al-Amud and Beit Hanina, who stood fearlessly against the Israeli occupation’s siege on them and proved that the occupation has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem.

Second: Hamas urges Palestinians to mobilize for Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in defence of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem against the Israeli occupation and its terrorist acts against Palestinians in the occupied capital.

Third: We call on the Arab and Islamic Ummah and the free people of the world to support Jerusalem, the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Palestinian people until liberation and return.
