Hamas official Hisham Qasem appreciated the cancellation of a scheduled football match by the Uruguay football team in the Israeli occupation following boycott pressure.

In a press statement, Qasem emphasized that this step enhances the boycott efforts and encourages other football clubs and national teams to do the same.

The Hamas official explained that the boycott efforts are aimed to protest the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people.
