Hamas spokesperson Jihad Taha said that the overwhelming vote at the UN General Assembly to pass a resolution that the Israeli occupation must get rid of its nuclear weapon reaffirms that it is a major threat to the region’s peace and security.

Such a resolution, Taha added, confirms that the Israeli occupation state is an illegal entity that must be held into account for that and for its crimes against the Palestinian people, as well.
