Hamas representative in Lebanon Ahmed Abdulhadi has met with United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland in Beirut.

The meeting was also attended by Hamas official in Lebanon Mashour Abdulhakeem.

The Hamas officials explained that the United Nations should shoulder its responsibility towards the Palestinian cause and advocate for Palestinian rights guaranteed by the International Law.

They also confirmed that the Israeli occupation should be held accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian lands and Muslim and Christian holy places.
