A high-level delegation from Hamas, headed by its politburo member Mousa Abu Marzouq, has met with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in the latter's residence in Ain al-Tineh in Lebanon. 

Abu Marzouq briefed Berri on the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause, particularly the daily Israeli aggression against Palestinian citizens of the occupied West Bank, including murders committed by the Israeli occupation army.  

During the meeting, Abu Marzouq called for international action to place pressure on the Israeli occupation to end its 15-year siege on the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas delegation addressed the situation of Lebanon's Palestinian refugees, underscoring the necessity for the Lebanese government to grant them their civil rights. 

The senior delegation, in addition, reiterated the importance of security and stability to prevail in Lebanon and Palestinian-Lebanese ties to be cemented.
