Member of Hamas political bureau Basem Naim said that the Israeli occupation’s siege on the Gaza Strip has affected all aspects of life, and turned the Strip into the largest prison in the world.

Naim added in a conference entitled “16 Years of Siege on Gaza: Impacts and Prospects” that the Gaza siege is one of the tools of Zionist terrorism deeply rooted in the Zionists’ minds, aiming at splitting the Palestinian people off.

The Hamas official described the Israeli occupation’s siege on Gaza as a crime against humanity that must come to an end and a disgrace to the international community that stands idly by about the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
