The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has launched a new version of its official Arabic website this morning in coincidence with the movement commemorating its 35th anniversary.
 
The website's manager said the new version has many cutting-edge features and "keeps up with the rapid development in the digital media and facilitates access to original statements in the Arabic language and genuine, first-hand videos and other materials about the movement's activities."
 
He pointed out that the website has had many cyber-attacks in the last few years in a bid to suppress genuine Palestinian content.

But the new website is designed to keep the Palestinian content available to journalists and people from around the world so that they could hear from Hamas, not about Hamas, the media officer in charge of the website emphasised.
