We condemn the Israeli occupation authorities’ banning of Christian Gazans from accessing sacred places in Jerusalem and Bethlehem on religious holidays. As the Israeli move restricts the Palestinian Christians’ access to holy places, we deem it a flagrant violation of the right to worship.

Amid the Israeli continued violations and racist policy, we call on the United Nations, the international community, and human rights organizations to shoulder their responsibility towards the Palestinian people and stop the Israeli occupation’s crimes against Christian Palestinians. They should also work towards holding the Israeli occupation accountable for violating the basic human rights of the Palestinian people, above all the right to worship, which are guaranteed  by international law.
