Hamas movement has congratulated Morocco on the national football squad’s win against Portugal in a historic match.

In an interview with the Al-Aqsa TV channel, the Head of Hamas Political Bureau Abroad Dr Sami Abu Zuhri said that the movement extends its deepest congratulations to the brotherly Moroccan people after the national team beat Portugal in the World Cup quarter-final.

The Hamas official stressed that the movement is keen on maintaining good relations with all countries, and called for fighting the normalisation of ties with the Israeli occupation.
