Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanoua said that the Israeli occupation settlers repeated violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque are a red line and emphasised that Palestinians will stand steadfast in the face of Israeli settlers’ attacks.

In a demonstration organised in solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Hamas spokesperson said that the movement supports the Palestinian people in occupied Jerusalem, who stand steadfast in the face of the Israeli occupation. 

Al-Qanou warned against provoking the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and elsewhere and held the Israeli responsible for any escalation. 

He also saluted the Palestinian people in Jerusalem and called on the Arab and Islamic Ummah, along with the free people of the world, to support the Palestinian freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation. 

The Hamas spokesperson emphasised that the Israeli occupation ignores all international laws and conventions and continues to adopt a deliberate medical negligence policy against Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails.
