Claims by Fatah accusing Hamas of plotting to sabotage the upcoming municipal elections pitifully misrepresent facts, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has said.

In a press statement on Thursday, Abu Zuhri slammed Fatah for launching an immoral slander campaign against Hamas.

“Fatah cadres are holding dozens of daily activities and meetings in Gaza while Hamas in the West Bank suffers a joint Israeli-PA campaign,” He underlined.

He reiterated Hamas’s commitment to accomplish the elections.

“If Fatah was having second thoughts about the elections they should have the courage to announce a withdrawal instead of fabricating lies to blame others,” he underscored.
