The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas strongly denounces the "punitive measures" imposed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority by robbing allocations for martyrs’ families and detainees and preventing Palestinians from building on their own lands.

Hamas condemns such measures as a crime and an encroachment on the Palestinian people’s basic rights in a bid to influence the UN resolution to prosecute the settler-colonial occupation before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

We call on the Palestinian Authority not to give in to such threats and work towards prosecuting the Israeli occupation leaders for their violations against the Palestinian people’s rights, land, and holy places.
