The Israeli occupation Knesset’s approval of a bill in a preliminary reading to deport Palestinian prisoners from occupied Jerusalem and 1948 occupied territories by revoking their “citizenship” or permanent residency for resisting the occupation and its racist policies is a flagrant violation of the Palestinian people’s rights.

Such a bill is aimed at Judaising occupied Palestine and an attempt to displace the Palestinian people forcibly.

Hamas calls on the Arab and Islamic Ummah and the international community to reject such a bill and exert pressure on the Israeli occupation by implementing punitive measures to stop this crime that blatantly violates international law and conventions.

Hamas also reiterates that the Palestinian people will continue to defend their land, identity, and holy places until liberation and return.
