A delegation from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, headed by Hamas' representative in Tehran Khaled Kaddoumi, participated on Tuesday in the eleventh international conference of "Gaza, Symbol of Resistance" in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The conference was held to commemorate the anniversary of the Israeli occupation's 2008-2009 aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.
In a speech at the meeting organised by the International Conference for the Support of the Palestinian Intifada, affiliated with the Iranian Parliament, jointly with the Association for Defending the Palestinian People, Hamas official Mushir al-Masri praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's support for the Palestinian resistance and people.
Al-Masry stressed that the Palestinian cause is going through difficulties, especially in light of the normalisation of ties by some Arab countries with the Israeli occupation state.
He pointed out that the new fascist government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu seeks to impose a fait accompli at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and tries to seize more Palestinian lands and gain control over holy places.
The Hamas official denounced the storming of the blessed Mosque by terrorist Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Iran's annual commemoration of the Israeli occupation's offensive against Gaza, added al-Masri, confirms its constant support for the Palestinian people's resistance in the face of the Zionist occupation.
Deputy commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Ali Fadavi said: "the Palestinian issue is a top priority for all Muslims."
