Hamas spokesperson said that the movement strongly condemns the burning of Quran near the Turkish embassy in Sweden.  

In a press release, Qasem said the movement condemns the burning of Quran in Swedish capital Stockholm, describing it a "provocative move" that fuels anti-Muslim violence. “It is an extremist behaviour that spreads hatred and incitement against Muslims.”

Qasem called on the international community to bear responsibility towards such racist behaviours that may spark violence against religious or social groups.
